Today marks 10years the black Satellite team won the Fifa U-20 World cup

Today marks exactly 10 years Ghana made history in the Fifa U-20 world cup in Egypt. Ghana become the first African country to win U-20 world cup after beating Brazil since the inaugural competition in 1987 after losing in the final to Brazil (1993) and argentina (2001).The match ended goalless draw after 120 minutes of play. The Satellite then won the match by defeating brazil 4-3 on penalty shootouts. 16th October, 2009 will surely be in the history books of Ghana and Agyeman-Badu(28 years) who plays as a midfielder for Hellas Verona on loan from Udinese will be the hero of that day.

That great achievement by the satellite of Ghana wouldn't be complete without acknowledging the technical team lead by coach Sellas Tetteh and the leadership of captain Andrew Ayew. Players like Andre Ayew, Emmanuel Agyemang- Badu, Samuel Inkoom, Jonathan Mensah among others gain their first call up into the national team (black star)
